China was worried about not being included in the 7 wonders of the world, so they convinced everyone in China with a computer to vote for them, the result?  Since China covers like 90% of the Earth’s surface and has over 25 billion people, they were easily included in the seven wonders.

On top of the boring process of selection and the more boring fact that the wonders have been chosen is the stupid attempt by whoever started the 7 wonders thing to come up with their own catchy title of “n7w”.

Apparently 11 is underage for drinking when you are in Alabama (must be acceptable at age 12).  The girl, who was slightly injured in the crash, is now charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, reckless endangerment and leaving the scene of an accident.  I’m not sure I understand.. if the police approached the vehicle and saw the girl, how did she then leave the accident?  Did she pull out a banana seated bicycle?  Big wheel?  Walk?

Yahoo! had a write up about Barry Bonds hitting his 751st home run.  In the article they write “clouded by suspicions of possible steroid use.”  Tell me please, there isn’t anyone that doubts Bonds used steroids.  Really, are the writers at Yahoo! afraid of being honest?

Emergency workers speculate that after the first victim was overcome Monday, the others climbed into the pit in a frantic rescue attempt. “It was a domino effect with one person going in, the second person going after them,” Rockingham County Sheriff Don Farley said.

Farley identified the victims as Scott Showalter, 34; his wife, Phyillis, 33; their daughters Shayla, 11, and Christina, 9; and Amous Stoltzfus, 24, who worked at the Showalters’ dairy farm in the Briery Branch community. The couple also had two younger daughters.
