I notice you are very quick to point out the “defects” in others (such as my fellow readheads.) But little do you realize my ignorant friend, that you are also a defect. Allow me to futher enlighten you… the very definition of defect is a shortcoming, fault, or imperfection..so unless you are implying that you are perfect you are just as “defective” as I am. Furthermore, since you are the flawless one of us all, id like you to point out the traits that a perfect person should have…FACT: Every single one of us has some sort of genetic defect. I have dark red hair, pale skin, freckles and big blue eyes…and guess what? im a “mutant” model banking $200,000 + a year…want to know why the agency loves me?…BECAUSE I HAVE BEAUTIFUL RED HAIR AND PALE SKIN!!! And im with a “real man” calvin clein model, so please show me how we are not desirable by men? And btw in all the great research, did you realize that mutation is the way of evolution? In other words **** the human race in general had to mutate to survive…else we would all perish. But I think id rather go extinct than end up an ignorant, unintelligent, babbling, idiot as yourself.

RedDee, I don’t mean to be the one that tells you this but “Real Men” don’t love red, they are told at an early age to avoid red. Wives don’t want their husbands around red. Girlfriends are shy when they are red. Red isn’t the new pink. Sorry.

I am a genetic mutation and wear my red hair with pride. I don’t blend in with the crowd and have the same dull hair color as 98% of the world. That works just fine for me. Every day I see women who try in vain to dye their hair red, and they fail miserably. If you aren’t born to it, you should not wear it because with the true color comes an attitude that says “F*ck you, I’m fabulous!” Don’t hate. You don’t like us, it’s because you are too lame to handle us. Real Men love Red.

I have been telling people this for years. It is not just a general dislike for ginger but it is truly a defect. Most of friends believe this to be rant that I like to partake in when drunk because they don’t want to believe thetruth. IT IS A DEFECT, THEY ARE MUTATIONS. The only things worse than a ginge is the ones who do not try and mask it with hair dye, razors or hats!

Thank you for webpage. It is possibly the best things I have seen on the internet for years.

I highly doubt that redheads will be extinct in a hundred years, however if they did actually begin to disappear it would be easy enough to conclude that the “white” race could be dwindling as well because of inter-racial breeding.
And if that was indeed the case then in a couple hundred years whites themselves could start to disappear since Asian and African genes are more dominant. Heck even Hispanic genes are more dominant then caucasion genes.
So if redheads really did disappear in a hundred years whites in general probably wouldn’t be too far from the extinction list as well in the grand scale of things.

Actually, while redheads ARE more prone to light sensitivity and whatnot we are also MORE resistant to things like electrical shock pain. Also the mutation that causes red hair (which doesn’t not actually require two redheaded parents, just that they both carry the appropriate gene) makes us able to produce more Vitamin D with less sunlight than the rest of you. Perfect for living in colder climates.
And Julia’s right.. Red hair isn’t going extinct. The “study” that came up with that was funded by Proctor and Gamble (P&G is the parent company for many of the products in your house, one of which is hair dye.)
