Dunkin’ Donuts shop is bad for cops

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (AP) — A police officer was shot in the head at a Dunkin’ Donuts shop Wednesday morning, a day after another officer was shot in the shoulder during a chase.

A model who killed three people while trying to commit suicide has been told she faces up to ten years in jail.

Stunning Jeanette Sliwinski deliberately rammed her car into another vehicle that had stopped at a red light.

The three occupants of the car were killed instantly in the horror smash - while Sliwinski only suffered a broken ankle in the accident, which happened two years ago.

Prisoner escapes by hiding inside suitcase

A 19-year-old woman appears to have escaped from a juvenile detention center in northwest Germany by hiding in the suitcase of a fellow inmate who was released, police said on Monday.

Guards at the facility in Neustadt remarked that the suitcase of the 18-year-old who walked free on Friday was particularly heavy but failed to search it, the police said.

Jesus drags woman with car then punches man in face

A 45-year-old Fulton man is in jail without bail related to an incident where he allegedly dragged a woman down a driveway with his car, threatened a man with a machete, then punched the man and a child he was holding, Oswego Sheriff’s deputies say.

Jesus R. Medina, of 1154 CR 8, is facing charges of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies say. Cost for helping others is 60 Euros

A Belgian man has been fined 60 Euros for delaying a commuter train after he helped a woman from being crushed that was stuck between the doors. “I apparently could have caused a delay and that is not permitted,” said Daniël Dewulf.

He added, “The train arrived right on time in Bruges in any event. The conductor did not see my point that I may have saved the woman’s life as a mitigating circumstance. Result: 60-euro fine.” Continue Reading »
