BOSTON – A killer who sued to have a sex change claims her body is becoming more masculine again because she’s being denied treatment in prison as she awaits a ruling in her bid for the surgery. Michelle Kosilek, formerly known as Robert, said that for months she has not been allowed to have court-approved hair-removal treatment or access to a specialist to discuss her testosterone levels.

Police ruin best commute in world history

Police in Victoria, British Columbia, were alerted by startled motorists to a car on the Trans Canada Highway with a naked man and two naked women having sex.

Calls began coming in Sunday afternoon from witnesses, some of whom trailed the car into the provincial capital city, Victoria Police Constable Kris Rice told the Victoria Times-Colonist.

PETS at risk of self-harm are increasingly being prescribed anti-depressants because they cannot discuss problems in their lives with others, a leading veterinarian says. Zoo and wildlife medicine specialist with the UK’s Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Romain Pizzi, told the Telegraph that more pets were being prescribed Prozac.

You think the only thing you have to watch out for is being frightened of at a movie is the scary movie and the ticket prices. Two people were stabbed at a Fullerton movie house during the screening of a horror film on Sunday night. Police are still searching for the suspect.

Northern Illinois University school shooting

A white male dressed in black fired at least 20 rounds in a Northern Illinois University campus classroom before turning the gun on himself. At least 15 victims have been transported Kishwaukee Community Hospital including six with head wounds. The shooting took place around 3 p.m. in Cole Hall near the King Commons, a central gathering place on the 25,000-student campus, according to the Web site.

Bush to wage war on heavens

WASHINGTON (AP)–The Pentagon is planning to shoot down a broken spy satellite expected to hit the Earth in early March, The Associated Press has learned.
