I was an Emt student at the time working in the hospital doing what they call clinicals, when i was called about to assist with the emergency that occurred that night. All I remember was a stretcher being rushed in to the first hospital room right on the right side after the entrance. Approximately 12-15 people surrounded the scene of Mr.Hendricks and proceeded with every medical technique you can think of to bring his life back. It was the biggest life experience I have ever been through it changed my life and it has opened up my eyes to what goes on in this world and also sparked inspiration to do what I can to make the world a better place. RIP Marcus your death will live on in me as an inspiration to change what can be done on the streets of Chicago, and also to not take life for granite anything can happen at anytime, my heart goes out to the family of Marcus Hendricks and to the rest of those that have ever lost somebody under these circumstances. God Bless
