An Australian tourist in Panjai India died from injuries received after being beaten by two waiters and a security guard who have since been arrested.
John Kelly was severely injured during the beating and collapsed on the floor after stumbling back to his guest house. He was taken to the Goa Hospital and Medical College where he died from his internal injuries.
There was a dispute over the style of serving beer at the pub where the altercation took place. Police say the waiters started beating Mr Kelly after accusing him of being arrogant.
The police were called to the scene but John had left the scene and traveled about two miles back to his guest house before they arrived.
Murder charges have filed against the three staff and the death is still under investigation.
