A 21-year-old British woman got an early Halloween scare when a picture she took of a shark in an aquarium appeared to show a human head in the coral.
Emma Place of Doncaster took the photograph at the $100 million dollar aquarium at the Deep in Hull. She didn’t notice the ghostly image until her boyfriend noticed it when they got home.
The image was taken with a cell phone and CCTV footage confirms that no one else was in the exhibit when the photograph was taken.
The aquarium is built on the grounds of a hospital where plague victims were quarantined.
Aquarium officials claim there has to be a logical explanation but after trying to recreate the image they just can’t find it.
