Chinese restaurant caught butchering deer in kitchen

The China King restaurant in Buffalo New York was closed after health inspectors acting on a tip found a deer being butchered in the kitchen.

State law in New York prohibits animals being butchered in kitchens because of the blood and contamination involved.

The restaurants answering machine said they were closed due to “family emergencies.”

It was unclear if the deer had been killed by a car or by a hunter, or if it was intended to be served to customers.
