Father to go on trial for paddling son

A pastor from Poynette Wisconsin is going on trial for paddling his son.
Barry Barnett, 43 is being charged with felony physical abuse and has pleaded not guilty.
He allegedly used a paddle about two feet long and struck the boy twice on the butt.
The paddling left some purplish bruises about four inches in length on each cheek.
