Women crushed to death by her husband’s coffin

Marciana Silva Barcelos was on the way to the cemetery when her husband’s coffin lurched forward in a car accident.

The 67-year-old woman was killed instantly when the coffin slammed into her head after the hearse she was riding in was struck from behind by another car.

The driver of the other car, an Alfa Romeo was trapped in the wreckage and was taken to the hospital.

Marciana Silva Barcelos was traveling in the hearse driven by her son who received only minor injuries in the crash.

Marciana’s 71 year old husband died the day before after suffering a heart attack at a dance.
