A stray dog was hit by a car traveling 70 miles per hour in Italy and survived.
Vets have treated the one-year-old dog for a broken leg and scratches and are looking for a home for him.
A police spokesman said “He’s a very lucky boy. He was saved because he was hit so hard. Any softer and he would have bounced off the car and been crushed under the wheels.”
The driver Marco Menozzi didn’t notice the impact and drove for 15 miles before stopping.
The Peugeot 207 had a gap above the bumper the dog fit perfectly in.
