Canadian Supreme Court rules obese get second airline seat for free
Court rules obese don’t have to pay for second airline seat
The Canadian supreme court has ruled that obese people do not have to pay for a second seat if they cannot fit into one seat.
The “functionally disabled by obesity” also known as gigantically fat, the ginormous, or simply really fat deserve to have a two for one special for airline seats.
By declining to hear the appeal the earlier decision from the Canadian Transportation Agency will stand.
The airlines had earlier lost an appeal to the Canadian Federal Court of Appeal and had sought to overturn the “one person one fare” ruling in May.
The airlines Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet had launched the appeal.
