Noise violators sentenced to listening to Barry Manilow

Noise violators in Fort Lupton, Colorado have been sentenced to listening to Barry Manilow by Judge Paul Sacco.

Judge Sacco began the unique punishments about a year ago when repeat offenders simply showed up to court ready to pay their fines.

He said, “Most kids don’t want to hear somebody like Glenn Close trying to sing opera.”

Most of the offenders are young people and the party goers had to sit in a classroom and listen to the easy listening music.

Video taken during one of the punishment classes showed teenagers with long faces figeting and staring up at the ceiling.

The teens complained they couldn’t even fall asleep to the music.

The Judge admitted he didn’t think Barry Manilow’s music was that bad personally.
