Nichole, as a woman you should make less money than your husband because, well, afterall… you know.

As for relating a job to a game, it sounds like you are comparing apples to a moldy tub of Crisco. It’s a game, it is not meant to teach a life lesson or take out some sort of pent-up rage that should be focused on their Uncle Diddles.

I think everyone is making a big deal out of nothing. So one time totally sucks… here is a suggestion.. practice more! I would rather lose when I was trying hard than to lose when the othe team is taking it easy on me. Why should one team play less than their best just because the other team isn’t as good. Does this apply to other areas? If my husband has a worse job than me am I suppose to take a paycut so he doesn’t feel bad. Seriously, its life… move on!

Anon, would you fee worse about a 1 point loss where you actually appeared to have a chance or would you rather be destroyed in a game and have the opposing team continue to show dominance?

When I was in school and I got in trouble for stealing, I got a spanking. At no time did my pops decide to beat me until I had welts or broken bones just because he could. The idea was taken and I didn’t steal again. It wouldn’t have accomplished anything for my pops to continue beating me until he set some record.

I played on 3 little league, 2 middle school, and two highschool football teams that had horrible losing records. However, the same group of guys came up through all of those teams together, and by our my junior year of highschool, we were 14-0 going into the state championship game…..which we lost by one point (35-34) in the last two minutes. We were still losers.

My point?

Whether you lose by a lot or a little, it sucks and you are a loser. GO COVENANT!

I agree Angela. I think that there’s no such thing as getting one’s ass kicked too much. I mean, they didn’t physically injure them, and who cares if they mentally destroyed them on the way to morally deflating their will and potential future hope of winning some time.

If you want to talk about poor sportsmanship I think the Dallas Academy and their fans are exhibiting this. Stop whining cause you got the poop beat out of you chalk it up as a loss and move on. By the schools record this shouldnt have been a suprise anyway. Hooray Covenant.
