Man dies nine times and lives

Houston, Texas — 59-year-old actor recently had a heart attack and died nine times before he could be stabilized.

The actor went into cardiac arrest and did not wake for two weeks.

Doctors at the West Houston Medical Center credit the Hypothermia Protocol where the body is cooled to 91 degrees for saving him.

The cool packs were used on the chest and thighs to induce hypothermia.

The actor had to undergo a quadruple bypass and has quit smoking, started exercising and switched to a healthy diet following the ordeal.
