Peoria, Illionois – Police caught a 13-year-old hiding in a garage less than an hour after robbing a bank covered in red dye.
The teen had run off with a red dye bag in a bag with money taken from the bank.
He had reportedly brandished a gun at a teller and demanded cash in a nearby bank.
The Sheriff said it was the youngest person I can remember during his forty years on the force.
Prosecutors have yet to decide wether to charge the boy as an adult which could mean up to 30 years in prison.
