McDonalds famous for ‘supersizing’ people nearly flattened an Arizona couple parked outside their restaurant when the golden arches sign fell on their Chevy Trailblazer.
Heavy winds with gust of sixty miles per hour caused the sign to blow down and strike the vehicle parked across the street from the restaurant.
The couple had to be cut out of the vehicle by rescue crews after the sign which struck the rear of the vehicle smashed the roof down around them.
The couple was taken to the hospital where the wife was in intensive care. Carolyn Janke, 68 was knocked unconscious and has a fractured sternum and spinal column.
The husband Russell Janke, 70 has over seventy stitches from head trauma.

The McDonalds restaurant on the Navajo reservation said they were “genuinely concerned about the recovery of those involved. We are fully cooperating with the authorities on their investigation.”
