Student left out in sun to die for not doing homework

New Delhi, India — A reported classroom punishment by a teacher has left an 11-year-old student dead in India.

The girl was left in the sun for hours in the baking sun as a punishment for not doing her homework.

She began bleeding from the nose and was taken to the hospital after fainting.

Soon after she fell into a coma and died.

The teacher have been suspended and police are considering criminal charges as they await autopsy results.
