73% of teaching applicants fail math test

Only 27 percent of 600 aspiring elementary and secondary teachers in Massachusetts passed a basic mass test this March.
The licensing exam test included geometry, statistics and probability.
The state’s education commissioner wasn’t surprised by the results saying that the results show how most students are not receiving an adequate math education.
